What makes our restorations unique
Here at Doctor Jag our cars each have several upgrades to not only increase performance but also reliability.
Mechanical upgrades.

Ron Davis Alloy Radiator
We use these radiators for their high efficient cooling capabilities.

Lightweight flywheels.
Since partnering with Fidanza performance, we have included their lightweight alloy flywheels in our restorations.

Gear reduction starter.

Electronic Ignition.
123 ignition distributors paired with Pertronix high performance coils.

Adjustable shock absorbers.
Spax or Gaz shock absorbers.

Wilwood front brake kits.
Upgraded Wilwood brake kits for greater stopping power. Replaces the dunlop style calipers
(S1-S1.5)

Modern relays.
Modern relays to replace the original Lucas relays. we also add in an additional relay to the Ignition.

Remote brake bleeders.
Added remote brake bleeders to the rear brakes for easy maintenance.

High volume low pressure fuel pumps.
We have found that the original fuel pumps to be unreliable so we use the Carter 4070 pump.

3.07 differential gearing.
Slightly taller gearing for more efficient highway cruising.

Cometic engine gaskets.
Heavy duty gaskets to replace the original paper gaskets.

Adjustable Jets
These adjustable jets allow us to fine tune the engine to gain increased power and throttle response.
Additional upgrades:
- Grade 8 hardware on support frames and IRS.
- Stainless steel exhaust systems.
- Chrome London tuned radios.
- Powder coating, zinc plating, and show quality chrome plating.
Internal structure upgrades
Our fabricator designs and builds a custom stiffening kit to each car to minimize body flex and increase road handling.
The kit replaces the factory 18 gauge vertical supports with handmade 16 gauge supports that allow us to install square tubing along the inner sills, rear bulkhead, and crossmember. Also, we make a stronger lower subframe mount which is boxed in and tied to the rest of the added support structures.
